In 2023, he founded XAVART, a contemporary art gallery conceived as a platform to support emerging artists, marking the transition from a personal interest in art dealing to a dedicated curatorial practice.

Before fully dedicating himself to art, Hechavarría built a successful career as a Software Engineer. This transition marks a profound shift toward creation as an emotional and intuitive practice.
